What is true happiness?
According to famous Greek philosopher Aristotle,
“Happiness is the meaning and purpose of life,
the whole aim and end of human existence.”
In our daily lives, there are a lot of things we do not have a control on. We always hope for a better future, but we cannot fully control it. The only thing we’re capable of doing in those times is to change our perspective. Happiness is an acquired skill. It is an art of living.
We live in a very fast- paced world. Everyone is dealing with something or the other. In such harsh realities, we often forget to think about our happiness. After all, we are always running after fame, money, job, studies and what not. Such an environment has caused conditions like depression, anxiety or hypertension really common these days.
What about the poor?
For the poor, happiness is not even a priority. They barely have enough food to eat. Keeping their mental health above everything else is not an option for them. They cannot afford to go to a therapist. Neither do they have any awareness regarding mental health. But happiness should not be exclusive. Everyone from every caste, gender or social strata has the right to be happy.
“The more equality is established among men,
The more virtue and happiness will reign in the society.”
Our mission “Muskaan”
This world needs a lot more kindness. We strongly believe that everyone deserves happiness, without any classicism involved. Mission Muskaan aims to bring a smile to thousands of faces by putting forth amazing activities that leave a powerful impact in their lives.
The program includes activities such as the distribution of clothes on festive occasions, vocational training on weekends for children, personality development and English improvement lessons for the youth. We also organize various fun activities at old age homes and orphanages to fill their lives with happiness. The contribution we make can have a much larger impact in the lives of these people. At the end of the day, we just want to see a smile on their beautiful faces.
“You’re never fully dressed without a smile.”
What can we do as a society?
It costs nothing to spread kindness and happiness. We all should be empathetic to the lesser privileged. It will make you happy as well. There is no better feeling than bringing a smile on someone’s face. These people need us. Do your bit. Feed a homeless man, teach poor children, visit an orphanage or play a sport with them. We deeply hope you will associate with our project “Muskaan”. This is our step to creating a better and kinder world. Millions of drops make an ocean. No help is small and each contribution does count.
“ Never underestimate the potential of those beautiful and enchanting smiles that can enlighten, brighten, and lighten the world..”
